I’ve been designing family activities for visitors to Osterley House. There are six different activities altogether: for this one I designed a set of rubber stamps inspired by the Robert Adam architecture, and visitors will be able to mix them up to design their own buildings.

I’ve been at the London Print Studio making a screenprint - lots of little people living in giant jellies. Unfortunately I had lots of technical hitches so the prints didn’t come out as well as I had hoped. But I like the fluorescent colours.

Letterpress plans

I went to visit Ross at JMG studio to look at the letterpress equipment. We are planning a letterpress collaboration based on the river poems made by the families I worked with earlier in the year at Morden Hall Park.

A gentle explosion

A soft sculpture work created for the forthcoming new illustration publication ‘Pick n Mix’. The theme for the first issue is ‘explosion’, so I have imagined how an explosion might look if it had a personality, and that personality was soft and gentle.

The Topiary Zoo

Two new screen prints for the exhibition in Swansea next week inspired by animals created from shrubs in a park in Mumbai - and the contrast with the lively wildlife such as jackdaws and chipmunks. The prints are available from The Old Sweet Shop’s online shop.
